Let's Talk: A Suicide Prevention Workshop

Just Health believes everyone -- especially people dealing with mental illness, their caregivers and providers -- should have the opportunity to learn more about suicide. Suicidal feelings are a reality for many. Why not understand? Talk about it? Learn to talk about it with each other?

Just Health equips people to better understand suicide, improve their ability to support another in crisis, and learn “Question, Persuade, Refer” skills.  This workshop teaches participants to talk about suicide or know how to respond when concerned.

  • Learn how to recognize warning signs of a suicidal crisis.
  • Gain confidence in starting a conversation about suicide.
  • Practice persuading and referring someone to seek help.
  • Expand understanding of local crisis services.
